· Chair of Policy Overview and Scrutiny Committee, Vicechair of Health Scrutiny Committee, Member of Licensing Committee, Member of GMCA Audit Committee, Member of GMCA Corporate Issues and Reform Scrutiny Committee, Member of Peak District National Park Authority, Trustee of Chadderton Together, Trustee of Crossley Community Association, Trustee and Vice Chair of Peak District National Park Foundation, Vice President of Chadderton Historical and Heritage Society, Governor of The Radclyffe School.
· Supported various voluntary organisations working to access the grant system to fund projects and activities within the local community.
· Full attendance at Oldham Council and Committee meetings.
· Worked with Oldham Council Officers and the Police to tackle ongoing issues relating to anti-social behaviour at Foxdenton Park and other locations leading to a reported reduction in incidents.
· Worked with individual residents and community groups on various issues relating to planning applications, parking, fly tipping, housing, litter, and other local matters.
· Taking part in local litter picks and walk-a-bout/street surgeries
· Held surgeries at Crossley Community Centre, Mills Hill Primary School or Kingfisher Community School (when circumstances relating to Covid-19 allowed).
· Worked with local community groups to deliver food and other packages whenever necessary during the pandemic.
