The purpose of this report is to seek approval to award grant funding to the voluntary, community and faith sector, during the financial year 1st April 2021 to 31st March 2022, as identified at Appendix 1.

RESOLVED - That the proposed allocations are awarded in 2021/22 as outlined at Appendix 1.

The purpose of this report is to seek an exemption from the contract procedure rules as stated in 21.3 (j) of the rules:

The purpose of this report is to consider the introduction of prohibitive waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) along part of Ward Lane, Diggle.

The purpose of this report is to consider the implementation of additional measures on Grampian Way and Hawkshead Road as recommended in the Road Safety Audit carried out on the scheme.

To request approval from the Cabinet Member for Finance and Green for the renewal of an Environmental Liability policy to provide cover for risks associated with the transfer of the First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) housing stock in 2011.

RESOLVED - That: The approval of the renewal of the Environmental Insurance Policy. This insurance will help minimise the risk following the housing stock transfer in 2011 and the 30 year warranties which were agreed.

The purpose of this report is to approve the usage of the Rough Sleeping Initiative Emergency Accommodation Allocation and seek approval to extend the current fixed term contract of the Move on Support Officer (MOSO) until 31st March 2022.

RESOLVED - That:
Extend the NSAP Move-On Support Officer post to March 2022 and utilise the remaining Rough Sleeping Initiative Emergency Accommodation Allocation monies for ongoing accommodation provision

The purpose of this report is to seek approval to purchase the leasehold interest of a unit within the Spindles and Town Square Shopping Centre to avoid it going to auction.

RESOLVED - To approve the submission of an expression of interest to purchase of the leasehold interest outside of a public auction process.

Allocation of MHCLG Community Champions Programme Grant

RESOLVED - That: To allocate the Government grant funding to provide support to residents most at risk from Covid19 through a community engagement approach according to proposals brought forward and endorsed by the Community Champions Steering Group

The purpose of the report is to seek approval for awarding the 12-month extension option within the contract between Oldham Council and Furniture Resource Centre for the supply of white goods and new and pre-loved furniture provided to eligible residents under the Local Welfare Provision Scheme.

RESOLVED - That:To award the optional 1-year extension to Furniture Resource Centre who have provided a high-quality service and have shown a real commitment to the Oldham Community particularly through the current pandemic.
