Work in thecommunity

·         As we come out of the pandemic I am still working with and helping the most vulnerable and isolated in the community.

·         Continue to Work to facilitate the restoration of Willow Park pond. Pushing for the work stalled due to lockdown.

·         Supported the Failsworth Mind team.

·         Support our Veterans and help to manage Remembrance Day activities.

·         Continue to work with local businesses to secure sponsorship of defibrillators so that the Failsworth is more than adequately covered.

·         Support M35 Save Our Greenbelt group to fight building houses on the precious greenbelt land in the area.

·         Working with residents to push for traffic calming measures.

·         Submitting and supporting applications for funding of various local improvements

·         Look forward to Maintaining membership of The Failsworth Carnival committee, working with them to organize future annual events after lockdown.

·         Supported numerous local community events, including Litter picks in Failsworth and Daisy Nook, Christmas Lights switch on 

·         Working with other Councillors in establishing Resident/Neighbourhood Groups

·         I am a member of the Council Planning Committee.

·         I sit on the Council Scrutiny Committee

·         Leading the Failsworth Independent Party, working across both wards.

·         Supporting constituents with many varied issues and complaints
