Reshaping Unity Partnership

An agreement has been made by the Chair of the Overview and Scrutiny Board to authorise the decision to agree to redesign Unity Partnership. The Council will take control of all of the services currently provided by Unity Partnership to the Council and its other customers. Consequently, Kier shares will be acquired by the Council.

The decision is to exempt the report from call-in. The Chair of the Overview and Scrutiny Board has agreed that the decision cannot be reasonably deferred in order to comply with the terms of the break clause.

The reason for urgency is that matter was not published 28 days in advance of the decision in accordance with Part 2 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) 2012.
