The Panel considered a report informing them of an application for a new premises licence in respect of Go Local Express, 105 Vulcan Street, Oldham which, due to representations being received had been referred to the Panel for determination.

On 20 March 2025 the applicant Warraich Ltd applied for the grant of a premises licence for Go Express. Representations had been received which were attached to the report at Appendices 14.1 – 14.2.  Following consultation with Greater Manchester Police the applicant had amended their application to reduce the opening hours and hours for the supply of alcohol off the premises to Monday – Sunday 7 am to 10 pm.

The Panel heard representations from the applicant and three persons who had made representations.

RESOLVED: The Panel noted that the applicant had reduced the proposed closing hours to 10pm as a result of discussions with the Police.

The Panel noted the concerns raised in the representations and were satisfied that the proposed operating conditions were appropriate to satisfy the four licensing objectives.

The Panel decided to grant the application as amended by agreement with Greater Manchester Police.
