Exclusion of the Press and Public

That, in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it contains exempt information under paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act, and it would not, on balance, be in the public interest to disclose the reports.

The Appointments Committee considered a confidential report, of the Assistant Director of Human Resources and Workforce Development, which outlined proposed arrangements for the post of Oldham Borough Council’s Chief Executive.

 

Resolved:

That the recommendations contained in the confidential report be approved and that the Council, at its meeting on 1st November 2023, be requested to concur.
