Appeal Minutes: The Equipment and Adaptations Team Manager presented the case on behalf of the Authority with support from the Deputy Head Occupational Therapist and a Community Occupational Therapist. The appellant with support from a representative from Age Concern presented their case. The Committee asked questions of both the local authority officers, the appellant and their representative.
The Committee noted additional information presented by the appellant from a Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist in support of the appeal.
The Committee adjourned the meeting whilst deliberations took place regarding their decision.
RESOLVED that the appeal be upheld in principle, subject to proof of title, as the application meets with requirements of Section 24(3) of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996. |
