Appeal Against the Decision of the Adaptations Panel Minutes: The Equipment & Adaptations Team Manager presented the case on behalf of the Authority.
A Technical Advisor to the Committee was in attendance to advise on matters of policy and procedure at the Committee. She had not taken part in the original decision.
The appellant was invited to the meeting but did not attend.
The Committee adjourned the meeting whilst deliberations took place regarding their decision.
RESOLVED - That the Appeal be dismissed, on the basis that; no exceptional circumstances were provided; the adaptations fully met the needs of the client while allowing adequate living space in the house, and; reasonable alternatives had been offered to meet the request of the applicant.
