Travel Appeal Minutes: The Education Provision Manager presented the case on behalf of the Local Education Authority calling no witnesses in support. The Appellants attended to present their case.
A Group Solicitor was in attendance who advised on matters of policy and procedure at the Committee. The Committee asked questions of the Local Education Authority and the Appellant, and both parties were given the opportunity to ask questions of each other.
Both parties were given the opportunity to sum up their case. The Committee adjourned whilst deliberations took place.
RESOLVED that the Appeal be adjourned and the Appellant to provide medical evidence as to why the child needed to attend the current school.
