Minutes:

The Panel considered a report informing them of 3 applications for temporary event notices at The Grill, 59-61 Featherstall Road, Oldham which, due to representations being received had been referred to the Panel for determination.

On 13 February 2025 Mr Juned Ahmed applied for 3 temporary event notices to which the Environmental Health Section objected.  The  Environmental Health objection was attached to the report at Appendix 14.3.

The Panel heard representations on behalf of the applicant and from the Environmental Health Section.

RESOLVED: Having heard from the applicant and considered the objection from the Environmental Health Section, the Panel noted that temporary event notices have been granted in 2022, 2023 and 2024 for the premises to open late and that the Environmental Health Section received no noise complaints on those occasions.

Having regard to the 4 licensing objectives and in particular the prevention of public nuisance, the Panel considers that it is appropriate to grant the application.
