A report that seeks approval to purchase software, via a framework direct award to an existing software supplier to the council. 

The Governance, Strategy and Resources Scrutiny Board scrutinised a report of the Executive Director of Place/Deputy Chief Executive, that was seeking approval to purchase software, via a framework direct award to an existing software supplier to the council.  The purpose of this software would be to undertake regular route optimisation exercises for all waste, cleansing and litter bin operations across the borough, leading to more efficient operations and ultimately, delaying the need for further operational growth in the service to meet resident and business growth.

Resolved:

That the Scrutiny Board would consider the commercially sensitive information contained in the report, at Item 37 on the agenda before making a recommendation.
