To approve the award of the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) contract to the preferred supplier (Paet A report).

Members of the Governance, Strategy and Resources Scrutiny Board scrutinised a report of the Executive Director of Place/Deputy Chief Executive, which sought approval for Oldham Council to authorise Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) to award a contract for the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) project to the preferred supplier following a fully compliant procurement process led by TfGM, and for Oldham Council to be a signatory to both the concession contract and the Greater Manchester Authority Agreement, so that the Council can benefit from this contract arrangement. 

In addition, the confidential section of the report (item 24), provided clarity on the financial/commercial arrangements associated with current TfGM provided electric vehicle chargers on Oldham Council land and discussed the merits as to whether or not this arrangement should be continued/extended.

Resolved:

That the Scrutiny Board would consider the commercially sensitive information contained in the report, at Item 24 on the agenda before making a recommendation.
