Council to consider the recommendation of the Appointments Committee’s meeting on 25^th February 2025, to appoint a permanent Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service and to designate the role of the Section 151 Officer.

Councillor Shah MOVED, Councillor C. Gloster SECONDED and Councillor Sheldon SUPPORTED a report of the Director of Workforce and Organisational Design, which asked Council to determine the recommendation of the authority’s Appointments Committee, which met on 10^th January 2022, to appoint Mr. Harry Catherall as Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service on a three-year fixed term contract starting 1^st April 2022.

RESOLVED - that Council confirm the recommendation of the Appointments Committee to appoint Harry Catherall as Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service (including as Returning Officer and Electoral Registration Officer) for a three year period from 1^st April 2022.
