Reason for decision
Accepting grant funding from Health Education England (HEE) will
provide a significant contribution towards the role of Public
Health Apprentice practitioner. This will increase staffing
capacity within the team.
RESOLVED - That: Oldham Council takes receipt
of a total of £54,812 from Health Education England. This
will be transferred to the Council in varying instalments over 3
financial years.
Option 1 - (Preferred) Oldham Council takes
receipt of a total of £54,812 from HEE. This will be
transferred to the Council in varying instalments over 3 financial
years.
Option 2 - To not accept funding and utilise full Council funding
to recruit a public health apprentice.
Option 3 - To not accept funding and to not recruit to the position
of a Public Health apprentice.
