The purpose of the report is to seek approval
for the Council to enter into an agreement with Grasscroft Homes
and Property to dedicate several areas of grass verge at Bullcote
Lane, Heyside as highway land in order to facilitate the
residential development of an area of adjoining land.
RESOLVED - That the Council proceeds to enter
into an agreement with Grasscroft to dedicate any of its identified
land required for highways purposes, subject to the provisionally
agreed heads of terms outlined in Appendix 3 of the report.
Option 1 - Do nothing.
Option 2 - Sell the land to Grasscroft or on the open market.
Option 3 - Agree to dedicate the required land for highway
purposes.
