Purpose:

In 2022, the council’s Waste Management Service undertook a procurement exercise to develop an in-cab technology solution and back office system.
The report seeks approval to renew the contract for a further 3 years period with the option to extend for 1 year.

RESOLVED - That:
To approve the contract for 3 years with the option to extend further for 1 year.

Option 1: Approve the direct award of the new contract for a further 3 years with the option to extend for a further year.
Option 2: Do not approve the award which would result in the council losing direct access to the waste management system including in-cab technology for both domestic and business collections.
