To approve formal comments by Strategic Planning on the Saddleworth Neighbourhood Plan consultation, in accordance with regulation 14 (Pre-submission consultation and publicity) of The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012.

RESOLVED - That:

Option 1: To approve formal comments by Strategic Planning on the Saddleworth Neighbourhood Plan consultation (regulation 14). This will give Strategic Planning the ability to make formal comments on the neighbourhood plan, meaning that Saddleworth Parish Council will have regard to comments made.

This will mean that formal comments are not made on the neighbourhood plan, meaning that Oldham Council will have less weight in steering plan policies and will reduce demonstration of our legal duty to advise and assist.
