To establish a new leadership structure within the
Economy and Education, Early Years and Skills
Services following the completion of a service
review.

Decision:

RESOLVED - Progress the proposal as set out in
this report ensuring that the right strategic
resource and capacity is in place enabling
corporate priorities to be delivered.

Reasons for the decision:

As detailed in the Purpose section.

Option 1: to retain the existing service
leadership structure. This is not felt to be a viable
option as the current structure does not reflect
the strategic priorities of the Council.

Option 2: Progress the proposal as set out in
this report ensuring that the right strategic
resource and capacity is in place enabling
corporate priorities to be delivered.

Alternative options considered:
