Purpose:

This report seeks approval to extend the funding for the Talk, Listen Change Perpetrator Programmes already being delivered across Oldham for a further 15 months from 31/12/23 to 31/03/25 at a cost to the Council of £45,125 in 2023/24 and £150,000 in 2024/25.

Decision:

RESOLVED - That: the Council should extend the grant funding of Talk
Listen Change for delivering behaviour change programmes with both adults and young people who have been perpetrators of domestic abuse
in Oldham at a cost to the Council of £45,125 in 2023/24 and £150,000 in 2024/25.

Reasons for the decision:

Option 1. Extend the grant funding of Talk, Listen Change Perpetrator Programme for both the adult and children and young people programmes to ensure local support continues to be embedded and delivered in
Oldham.
Option 2. To extend the grant funding of Talk, Listen Change for a Perpetrator Programme for adults only, but discontinue the work with children and young people
Option 3. Do not extend the grant funding
