Purpose:

The Waste Management Service operates domestic and trade waste collection services across Oldham
Due to the increase in properties/trade waste contracts since 2016, and the service absorbing growth within existing structures and service efficiencies, we are now at a point where growth is needed to maintain service standards.

Decision:

RESOLVED - That:
Due to the increase in properties/trade waste contracts since 2016, the report seeks approval to create one additional waste collection round across both domestic and business collection.

Reasons for the decision:

Option 1 – To approve the increase in staffing to enable the service to implement one additional waste collection round.
Option 2 – Do not approve the increase in staffing.
