The Council has undertaken a tender in
partnership with Pendle Council to obtain a supplier to provide
Merchant Acquiring Services (payment of services via debit and
credit cards) to both Councils. Following a compliant procurement
process it is proposed to appoint Cardnet Merchant Services Limited
(Cardnet) as the supplier from 01/08/2023.
RESOLVED - That:The Council appoints and enter
into a contract with Cardnet as the supplier of Merchant Acquiring
Services from 01/08/2023.

Appoint current provider, Cardnet, under a new contract following
the tender process.
Option 2 - Option 2 - appoint no provider
Appoint no provider.

All providers of Merchant Acquiring Services
have been consulted to the availability of this tender which was
subsequently advertised via the Invitation to Tender process.
Consultation has taken place with Legal, Finance and Procurement
Officers.
