Purpose:
The purpose of this report is to consider the
introduction of a prohibition of waiting restriction at the
junction of Roundthorn Road/Cranbrook Street, Oldham.
Decision:
RESOLVED - That:
the prohibition of waiting restrictions are introduced in
accordance with the plan and schedule at the end of this
report
Reasons for the decision:
Option 1 - The alternative option is to
install bollards at the junction to deter parking. This option will
permanently reduce the footway width available for pedestrians and
motorists could continue to park on the junction
Option 2 - The recommendation to provide No Waiting At Any Time
restriction to remove inconsiderate parking.
