RESOLVED - That:
Award the contract and enter into contracts with Arup and Womble
Bond Dickinson. Under this option, the contracts for PM / SE and
Legal support will be awarded to the successful bidders and the
work will commence in January 2023.
Reasons for the decision:
Option 1: Do not award the contract. Under
this option, the Council will not incur expenditure of £21K
on the Legal support. However, the project will not progress to DPD
/ OBC stage.
Option 2: Award the contract and enter into contracts with Arup and
Womble Bond Dickinson. Under this option, the contracts for PM / SE
and Legal support will be awarded to the successful bidders and the
work will commence in January 2023.
