Proposed Prohibition of Waiting – Shaw Hall Bank Road and Round Meadow Close, Greenfield and allocation of Section 106 resources from DB 423 - (PA/342222) to the scheme

Decision Maker: Executive Director for Place & Economic Growth

Decision status: Recommendations Approved

Is Key decision?: No

Is subject to call in?: No

Purpose:

The purpose of this report is to seek approval for the allocation of resources secured through Section 106 planning obligations to fund the introduction of prohibition of waiting restrictions along Shaw Hall Bank Road and Round Meadow Close, Greenfield.

Decision:

RESOLVED - Approve the recommendations and implement the scheme as required by the planning permission and the S106 Obligation

Reasons for the decision:

Option 1 - Do nothing and leave as the status quo. This is not desirable as the restrictions are required on highway safety grounds as well as meeting the terms of the planning permission and S106 obligation. If the scheme is not implemented, the developer could request their contribution be returned.
Option 2 - To approve the recommendations and implement the scheme as required by the planning permission and the S106 Obligation

Alternative options considered:

Option 1
