To grant a lease of an area of land to
Northern Roots.
RESOLVED - That: the Council grants to
Northern Roots a lease of land within the project area and adjacent
to Alexandra Park. The area would be used by Northern Roots to
encourage community engagement, support volunteering and work
placement activity.
Option 1 - Not to grant a lease. However, this
may see delays to the overall Northern Roots Project and place a
barrier in obtaining external funding streams.
Option 2 - Grant a lease as described which would accelerate the
Northern Roots Project.
