Purpose:

To authorise retrospective novation of a contract following a company restructure, to ensure that the current arrangements comply with the Council’s Contract Procedure Rules.

Decision:

RESOLVED - That:
to authorize retrospective approval to novate a contract from Handicare Accessibility Limited to Direct Healthcare Group Ltd, in respect of a contract dated 1 May 2019 for the Lot 2 provision of ceiling track hoist services, with effect from 1 September 2021

•This would mean that the Council must bring to an end any current interim arrangements because there would be no written contract in place, and it would be a breach of CPRs to continue with the verbal arrangements. Equally, there would be an impact on the framework as a whole because Lots 1, 3
