Oldham Council has secured funding from the following source:
•Department for Transport (DfT), Active Travel Fund via Transport for Greater Manchester
The purpose of this report is to confirm the value of the grant available to Oldham and to notify the Officer of the intention to bring this additional resource into the transport capital programme to commence delivery of the schemes.

RESOLVED -
Accept the grant offer and deliver the scheme in an appropriate timescale.

Consultation between Oldham Council and Unity Partnership officers has taken place throughout development of the School Street application. This has also involved discussions with the schools in question to ensure their support and participation in the schemes.
Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders (TRO) and further consultation with the schools, parents, residents and businesses in the localities will take place as the schemes are developed.
The Portfolio Holder for Neighbourhood Services and Ward Councillors have been communicated with and will be kept informed and updated
