Purpose:

The purpose of this report is to summarise a procurement that has been undertaken to provide the system/services tendered for in the Greater Manchester Clean Air Plan retrofit grant platform to seek approval for TfGM to award a contract in accordance with TfGM’s existing Constitutional arrangements utilising the initial tranche of £36m of funding from Government to deliver the CAZ and other GM CAP measures.
It is anticipated that the volume of applications for the Clean Air Grant Retrofit (Bus, Coach, Taxi and HGV) and Clean Bus Replacement Funding will be 960+ bus retrofit applications, 520+ bus replacement applications and 270 retrofit applications for other coaches, taxis and HGVs.

Decision:

RESOLVED - That:
recommended to approve that GMCA (acting by its officer, TfGM) is authorised to award to the contact to Fluent Technology utilising the initial tranche of £36m of funding from Government to deliver the CAZ and other GM CAP measures.
