The purpose of this report is to seek
delegated approval to commission Systra, via TfGM, to undertake
locality assessments of the strategic allocations proposed as part
of Greater Manchester's Plan for Homes, Jobs and the Environment
(GMSF).
RESOLVED - That: Appoint Systra, via TfGM, to
undertake locality assessments of the strategic allocations
proposed as part of Greater Manchester's Plan for Homes, Jobs and
the Environment (GMSF).
Option 1 - Appoint Unity to carry out the
additional work required with Systra conducting a review to ensure
consistency in approach.
Option 2 - Developers carry out the additional work required, where
they are in a position to do so, with Systra conducting a revuew to
ensure consistency in approach.
Option 3 - Approach Systra to carry out the addiitonal work,
liaising with Unity, IBI Group and the council as
appropriate.
Options 1 and 2 were rejected.
