Purpose:
This report seeks exemption from Contract
Procedure rules in order to deliver activity against the High
Streets Community Clean Up Fund. This includes commissioning
Groundwork Oldham and Rochdale to deliver community engagement and
development activity and a series of community clean ups.
Decision:
RESOLVED - That an exemption from the Councils
Contract Procedure Rules and appoint Groundwork Bolton, Bury,
Oldham and Rochdale to deliver this scheme.
Reasons for the decision:
Option 1 -
seek quotes via the chest. This option would not be able to deliver
the activities within the timescales prescribed by
Government.

Commission the work to Groundwork as recommended
