To Receive Declarations of Interest in any Contract or matter to be discussed at the meeting.

Councillor McMahon declared two interests in Item 6, ‘Budget Report’:

1. Performance Plaza funding application: A pecuniary interest, by virtue of a leasehold interest in Failsworth Volunteer Centre, 1 Ashton Road East, Failsworth which is due to be transferred to Performance Plaza and is connected to their funding application to the District Partnership.

2. Street Signage, Paddock Lane: A prejudicial interest, by virtue of his brother living on Paddock Lane.

He left the room during consideration of the relevant funding applications and took no vote or participation thereon.

To receive Questions from the Public, in accordance with the Council’s Constitution.

RESOLVED - That the minutes of the meeting held on 30th January 2013 be approved as a correct record.

To advise the Failsworth and Hollinwood District Partnership Finance Sub Committee of the current budget commitments and to consider funding a number of projects and schemes.

The District Partnership Finance Sub Committee received a report detailing the budget commitments and sought consideration of funding proposals for a number of projects and schemes. It was highlighted that the remaining balance was £7,145.

 

Jason Bromley attended for the Performance Plaza application.

Mrs S Abbott attended for the Oldham Cancer Support Centre application.

 

RESOLVED – That:

1. The remaining balance be noted.

2. £600 be allocated to Performance Plaza towards The Art Hub.

3. £2,544 be allocated for a street lighting column at Park Avenue, Failsworth.

4. £1,044 be allocated for street lighting at County Street, Hollinwood.

5. £149 be allocated for street signage at Paddock Lane, Failsworth.

6. £2,808 be allocated to Oldham Cancer Support Centre towards additional counselling sessions.
