Issue - meetings

The District Executive gave consideration to a report which provided a breakdown of expenditure to date and proposed budget commitments.  Members sought and received clarification as to which notice board to Royton Park would be replaced.  It was confirmed that it would be the Radcliffe Street entrance.  The other entrance could be addressed in future years.

RESOLVED that:

1.         The funding allocations made to date by the District Executive be noted.

2.         The Individual Ward Councillor Budget Allocations as outlined in the report be noted.

3.         The allocation of £4,000 revenue expenditure for improvements to the skate park area in Royton Park be approved.

4.         The allocation of £3,240 revenue expenditure for school holiday provision to be delivered by Oldham Sports Development Service be approved.

5.         The allocation of £6,380 revenue expenditure for the Royton North High Street Grant Programme (to be developed) be approved.

6.         The allocation of £6,380 revenue expenditure for the Royton South High Street Grant Programme (to be developed) be approved.

7.         The allocation of £6,358.00 capital expenditure for soil and wildflower seed scheme at the former Royton Medical Centre Site be approved.

8.         The allocation of £2,299.00 capital expenditure to replace the notice board in Royton Park be approved.

9.         The allocation of £5,671.50 capital expenditure for Royton North Environmental Improvement works be approved.

10.       The allocation of £5,671.50 capital expenditure for Royton South Environmental Improvement works be approved.

11.       The following allocations from budgets carried forward be noted:

·         Peterloo Memorial Stone - £4,000

·         Event to mark 200 Year Anniversary of Peterloo - £2000

·         OPAG School Holiday Provision - £6,525

·         Sports Development - £3,240

·         Real Change Oldham - £1,000

·         Notice Board in Royton Park - £2,299

·         Bench Refurbishment Programme - £2,190

·         Skate Park, Royton - £4,000.
