The purpose of this report is to ask Members
to review whether, as a result of a information received, the
holder of an existing dual hackney carriage / private hire drivers
licence, remains a ‘fit and proper’ person to hold that
licence.

RESOLVED that based on the information provided to the Panel, having considered the nature of the offence and taking into account Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council’s Conviction Guidelines adopted by the Licensing Committee in November 2016, the Panel agreed that the dual hackney carriage / private hire driver’s licence be REVOKED.
NOTES: The Driver and a colleague attended the meeting and addressed the Panel.
