The purpose of the report is to seek approval
for the Council to contribute towards a series of improvements at
Vestacare Stadium which is Council owned and primarily occupied by
AVRO Football Club and Oldham Rugby League Football Club (1997)
Limited.
RESOLVED - That the Council make a
contribution to the improvement of the Vestacare Stadium site
subject to the terms and conditions outlined in Appendix Two of the
report.
Option 1 - Do nothing.
Option 2 - Agree to make a contribution to the ground
improvements.

The proposal follows a meeting between the
Leader of the Council and representatives from AVRO Football Club
in September 2019.
In addition, representatives from AVRO Football Club have met with
Ward Councillors in a series of meetings throughout November
2019.
The report was approved by CIPB on 20 December 2019.
