To approve the allocation of section 106
resources totalling £8,000 from DB 394 - (PA/337554) land at
the former Conservative Club, Stanley Road to Environmental
Services for enhancements to the soft landscaping surrounding the
skatepark at Coalshaw Green Park
RESOLVED - That: the allocation of
£8,000 Section 106 funding towards enhancements to the soft
landscaping surrounding the skatepark at Coalshaw Green Park is
approved.
Option 1 - Do nothing: To do nothing would
mean that the requirement of the S106 to use the commuted sum
towards the enhancement and maintenance of soft landscaping in
Coalshaw Green Park would not be met and the landscaping
surrounding the Coalshaw Green Park will not be improved.
Option 2 - To allocate £8,000 S106 Resources from DB 394 -
(PA/337554) land at the former Conservative Club, Stanley Road
towards Environmental Services for enhancements towards the
enhancement and maintenance of soft landscaping in Coalshaw Green
Park.

Consultation was carried out as part of the
planning process prior to the approval of the development. This
process resulted in the requirement for the developer to enter into
a S106 agreement and to pay a commuted sum
for the enhancement and maintenance of soft landscaping in Coalshaw
Green Park.
