The purpose of the report is to seek approval
for the awarding of the contract for the provision of external
enforcement services. The contract is for one year and will augment
the in-house enforcement agent service for Council Tax and Business
Rates.
RESOLVED - That:the contract be awarded to the
highest scoring bidders which ensures compliance with financial and
contract procedure rules benefitting the Council with high quality
service, competitive pricing and social value outcomes.
Option 1 - To award the contract to the
highest scoring bidder(s) which ensures compliance with Financial
and Contract procedure Rules benefitting the Council with high
quality service, competitive pricing and social value
outcomes.
Option 2 - Not to award the contractwihch would leave the Council
with nocntracted external supplier to deliver the service
The recommended option is Option 1
