In line with experiences across the country,
Children Services in Oldham are facing a significant demand
pressure and therefore workforce challenges. Over the last 2 years
demand has increased significantly across all key profiles. The
resulting issues were set out for Leadership on the 23rd July 2018
through the Children's Services Improvement Programme Update.
RESOLVED - That:
the proposals contained within the consultation document be
implemented.
Option 1 - Do nothing and continue with
existing structure but this will not meet the requirements of
service delivery going forwards
Option 2 - to implement to proposals.

The Trade Unions and staff have been consulted
on the proposals and responses given to any feedback received
during the consultation process. Individual feedback appropriate to
individuals has been responded to
