The purpose of the report is to seek approval
for the Council to alter the terms offered to the Brookhouse Group
('Brookhouse') in respect to the proposed sale of the former
Whitekirk Hall, Ashton Road West, Failsworth.
RESOLVED - That the Council proceed to dispose
of a long-leasehold interest to Brookhouse in accordance with the
provisionally agreed heads of terms outlined in Appendix Two.
Option 1 -
Do nothing.
Option 2 -
Include the Council's land within a maintenance agreement
only.
Option 3 - Dispose of the Council's land to Brookhouse at the
earliest opportunity.
