To progress the commissioning of an Enterprise
Architect and a Technical Project Manager to support the delivery
of the Digital by Design programme. This capacity will help achieve
the financial savings required from the programme.
RESOLVED - To release £78,000 from the
Capital general provisions element of Phase Three of Digital by
Design
Option 1 - to fulfil the requirement 1 x six
month fixed term roles could be advertised. This has been
discounted due to the length of time it would take to
recruit.
Option 2 - to fulfil the requirement by using the established Unity
IT process to procure temporary resources. This is the recommended
option.
Option 3 - to not fund the requirement. This has been discounted as
this would jeopardise the ability to achieve the savings and
improvements required.
