The purpose of the report is to detail recent
events and seek approval for the Council to continue with the
proposed acquisition of the subject property on the basis of the
revised terms detailed in Appendix 2 of the report.
RESOLVED - That the Council progress Option 3
and still proceed to allow TRG to surrender their interest, thus
returning possession of the building to the Council. The
provisionally agreed heads of terms are set out in Appendix
2.
Option 1 - Do nothing and not accept the
surrender.
Option 2 - Serve a dilapidations notice.
Option 3 - Allow TRG to surrender their lease and proceed to
acquire the property.
