The purpose of the report is to consider the
options available to the Council following the completion of a
statutory advertising exercise regarding the Council's intention to
dispose of land at Ashbrook Road, Springhead which is currently
identified as potentially forming Public Open Space (POS).
RESOLVED - That the Council;
- Confirms that the subject asset is declared surplus to the
Council's operational requirements.
- Continues to progress a disposal of the subject land to Russell
Homes in accordance with the previous resolution from the Council
(ModernGov.2977).
Option 1 - Not to sell the land.
Option 2 - Continue to progress the agreement with Russell
Homes.
