To approve the final terms for the disposal of
the former Roxy Cinema Site and the final terms for the acquisition
of the Highways England land on the former Roxy Cinema site.
RESOLVED - That:
the Executive Director Economy, Skills and Neighbourhoods in
consultation with the Leader, Director of Finance and Director of
Legal Services:-
1. Approves the disposal of the former Roxy Cinema site.
2. Approves the phase one appraisal for the disposal of the former
Roxy Cinema site
3. Approves the acquisition of the Highways England land on the
former Roxy Cinema site.
4. Authorises the Director of Legal Services to complete and
execute all appropriate legal documents on behalf of the
Council.
Option 1 - To dispose of the Roxy site on the
terms set out in the report.
Option 2 - Not to dispose of the Roxy site and not to acquire the
Highways England land on the terms set out in the report.
Option 2 - Not to dispose of the Roxy Site and
not to acquire the Highways England land on the terms set out in
the report.

Council planning officers have been consulted
and they have confirmed that they have no objections in principle
to the proposed disposal of the site.
The Hollinwood Junction Project Board have approved the proposed
disposal.
